PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Style frame of the title sequence for Christopher Nolan's film Interstellar.
FILM SYNOPSIS
Interstellar, directed by Christopher Nolan, 2014.
The background of Interstellar is based on the theory of theoretical physicist Kip Thorne. The movie talks about the Earth’s extreme weather conditions where crops and human beings will be unable to survive. Professor Brand (Michael Caine), a brilliant NASA physicist, is working on plans to save humankind by transporting Earth’s population to a new home via a wormhole. Before that, Brand must send former NASA pilot Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) and a team of researchers traveled through the wormholes in space, trying to find a planet to ensure human survival.
AWARDS
Best Visual Effects award at the 87th Oscar Academy Awards, received 4 Oscar nominations. Best Special Visual Effects at BAFTA Film Award 2015. The film “Interstellar” won 44 awards and 148 nominations.
OUTCOMES
STYLE FRAMES (1920 X 1080)
Three-dimensional spatial will inspire this creative approach. The images will include the distorted abstract effect, which will keep pace with the movie’s themes and development plot. Besides, the text will be distorted to enhance the theme.

PROCESS
CONCEPT
The concept comes from the various elements (universe science) and objects that appear in the movie. It will contain abstract elements, such as the universe, wormholes, the distortion of Space and Time. It will continue to maintain the film’s science fiction style to create a mysterious atmosphere for the audience. The color palette will have a little bit of color and black and white.
TONE OF VOICE
Fear; Mysterious; Adventure; Exploring; Survival.
TYPOGRAPHY
Sans Serif, Bold, Ultralight Black and White, Blur effect (slightly).
